Confirmed: 2015 FOX 36 RC2 Fork - More Better Than Ever 13

UPDATE: Check here for additional information about FOX's 2015 lineup.

Aggressive riders rejoice! The FOX Float 36 RC2 looks to be making a strong comeback for 2015. Last week we spotted the new fork being ridden in the new 27.5 Santa Cruz Nomad launch video and could only speculate, but these recently released FOX service videos confirm that a new 36 is indeed on the way very soon. They also let us see inside the beast.

The videos aren't embeddable at this time, so we've included some key screenshots. While the chassis may look similar with the exception of the throwback FOX logo, what's inside the fork looks like it has seen a big overhaul.

Interesting additions include Kashima coated damper rods and 20-weight gold bath oil, just like the 40 AIR uses.

Travel is adjustable internally, though the process looks pretty involved.

Air volume spacers (shown in blue) can be used to change the compression ratio/progressivity, offering a more supportive ride.

In order to please both 15 and 20mm axle fans, the fork can be converted to use either. Awesome. Pinch bolt axle clamps round out the package.

Just like before, external low and high-speed compression adjustments are on top of the fork. The external rebound adjustment is at the bottom.

Lars Sternberg is also rocking the new fork.

Wheel size options, travel ranges, damper details, prices, and availability will be confirmed soon. Keep an eye on www.ridefox.com for more details.
