In the three-hour training session the day before finals, Tahnee Seagrave did just one run and had a front flat. It would be easy, then, to assume that maybe she wasn't ready for her comeback, but she delivered the goods on Sunday and stormed into second place. Stoked to have you back T! -Dan Hearn

We saw some impressive riding and unique lines from Danny Hart all week long. His run looked like it had potential with some fast upper splits. Time was lost the further down the course he went and the results of just out of medal contention by just .25 seconds. @maddogboris

Myriam Nicole had an early race run and finished it 18 seconds faster than Vaea Verbeeck at this point. No other women could beat her 4:53 time, and she became the 2019 Elite Women World Champion. @maddogboris

Laurie has not had the best week. With teammate Brook's incident, a destroyed rear wheel in qualifying and a flat tire in finals, it could be easy to dwell on what could have been. But 6th with a puncture on this track is a remarkable achievement and he should hold his head high and be proud. We certainly are. -Dan Hearn
