When French Freerider William Robert got the nod from Red Bull to compete in the 2022 Rampage, he knew he wanted a special ride to mark the occasion.
And what better look than an homage to the art and architecture of his hometown of Fontainebleau, with a metamorphic white and grey marble finish adorned with veins of gold.
The one-off paint job on his Shore Park freeride frame will also appear on the custom riding kit created by clothing sponsor Ion that William’ll sport through the October 21st main event.
Until Friday, though, he’ll continue scoping out his lines, digging, and prepping his body and mind to send it at the biggest annual convening of the greatest riders in Freeride in the remote red desert of Virgin, Utah.
This work of kinetic art came together thanks to an epic collaboration between Norco, Ion, Fresh Paints, Ride Wrap, SR-Suntour, Mavic, Chromag, Hutchinson, Magura and Sensus.
