SST Model Drives Record Year for REEB Cycles in 2022

Lyons, Colo. (January 12th, 2023) – REEB Cycles introduced the SST steel trail bike at Sedona Mountain Bike Festival in March to showcase their design and fabrication capabilities in combination with cutting edge material science and manufacturing techniques. After a full-scale production launch in the second half of 2022, the SST drove REEB to a 65% sales increase, delivering a banner year for the Colorado based handmade bike company.  

The SST is the first trail-ready example of the company's investment in advanced manufacturing, engineering, and operational personnel and technology.  After several years of engineering collaboration with REEB, Steve Ziegler joined the company as President, bringing more than two decades of aerospace engineering, manufacturing, and operations experience. With the growing demand for the SST and other products, REEB Cycles bolstered their all-star fabrication team by hiring veteran framebuilder Sean Burns, Owner and Founder of Oddity Cycles and fabricator James Bridge, who has over 8 years of experience developing engineering concepts into reliable products for the aerospace industry.

In 2011, REEB Cycles began fabricating handmade steel hardtails designed for the steep and rocky terrain of their home in the foothills of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.
