Red Bull Hardline Tasmania Promises Even Bigger Thrills in 2025 1

2025 track preview showcases fresh new challenges for riders.

Maydena, Australia, 19th December 2024 – A track preview for next year’s Red Bull Hardline Tasmania has been revealed, promising an even more thrilling experience for riders & spectators alike. Red Bull Hardline will return to Maydena Bike Park in Tasmania from 7-8th February 2025 in the second Australian edition of the world’s most daring downhill mountain bike event.

Building upon the event’s signature features such as steep descents, technical sections and massive jumps, the revamped Red Bull Hardline Tasmania track will push riders to new limits in 2025. Key features of the updated course include:

  • Extended course: the track has been extended approximately 300m further down the hill, making it longer and faster
  • More jumps: new and extended jumps have been added, promising big air
  • New challenges: new features including a brand new supercross style section with some whoops and lily pads, a fresh rock garden, and some exciting corners have been added to test the riders

Red Bull Hardline Tasmania is an invitational event, welcoming 34 of the world’s best female and male mountain bikers to tackle one of the most challenging and exhilarating downhill mountain bike tracks in the world.

Red Bull Hardline Tasmania invitee, Darcy Coutts, tested sections of the track earlier this week and said it’s definitely a more challenging mix that “keeps you guessing”.

“The new features for Red Bull Hardline Tasmania keep you on your toes. The course is longer with an extended finish about 300 meters further down the hill and with more jumps, so it’s very fast-paced and will make for an exciting finish,” Coutts said. “Higher up, there are multiple lines to choose from, and some features are more technical, like the rebuilt rock garden which forces you to take a higher line and a more technical log hit. Plus, many of the gaps on the jumps have been extended, promising some big air,” he continued.
