Orbea and FMD Racing Join Forces

We are proud to announce the coming together of Orbea and FMD Racing, an alliance born from a shared vision that goes beyond traditional sponsorship. This partnership combines the legacy of both brands, creating a new, unique team known as Orbea FMD Racing - The Gravity Cooperative.

FMD Racing stands as one of the most iconic and forward-thinking teams in the DH and freeride scenes. With multi discipline athletes across all categories, a bold identity, fresh honest content and a passion for competition, FMD Racing inspires a global community to come together. Combine that with Orbea’s 185 years of history, podiums across every cycling discipline plus the vision and engineering within OOLAB, this is an exciting step forward into the world of downhill and freeride.

Together, Orbea and FMD Racing share a goal: to dominate each podium and set new benchmarks beyond racing. This includes collaborating through OOLAB to develop the bikes of the future and identifying and supporting the next generation of gravity athletes.

Central to this project is a deep connection with the DH community, whose passion for freeride fuels the project’s vision. We aim to engage the public community not only through our innovative work and achievements but also by inviting them to participate in our social initiatives.
