Two years have passed since the birth of Oquo and its first range of wheels, the mountain range. Since then, the brand has dedicated itself not only to further improving its production facilities and test laboratory in the Basque Country, but has also introduced a complete road range and achieved its first successes in high competition.
Oquo now presents new products for the mountain range as a result of its continuous cycle of improvement. That is to say, the active listening to its teams, the results of lab and field tests and the tests carried out on various new technologies.

The Mountain Performance (MP) range offers the lightest and highest performance wheels for the most modern and capable XC-oriented bikes. Within this range, Oquo launches its new MP30 LTD and MP30 Team wheels, now with its own hub called Oquo DT Inside.
This is a logical step in the brand's strategy to offer the best product while carefully controlling the entire manufacturing process. In a category where lightness and efficiency are the priorities, designing its own hub makes it possible to optimize this element with these two axes of development.
With the new Oquo DT Inside hubs the MP30 LTD and MP30 Team wheels are lighter by eliminating material where it is not strictly necessary. They have been able to obtain a saving of 7 g on the front LTD hubs and 29 g on the rear ones, compared to equivalent hubs. All without compromising the durability of the ensemble.
The new LTD and Team hubs use DT Swiss' proven Ratchet internal mechanisms. Specifically, Ratchet EXP for the top of the range LTD and Ratchet for the Team hub. The development of this hub has allowed them to incorporate Straight Pull spoke technology to improve the efficiency of the assembly and replace the J-Bend used in this range to date. This system allows the spoke head to be brought closer to the axle. Positioning the spokes closer to the axis of rotation improves power transmission efficiency, minimizing mechanical losses and maximizing power transfer from the rider to the wheel. The new hubs use T-Shape spoke heads which prevent the spokes from twisting and loosening. This provides a more reliable wheel with a lighter weight.
Finally, thanks to the Oquo DT Inside hub, the spoke lengths on both sides of the wheel are now symmetrical, making a lighter, stiffer and stronger wheel with fewer spare spokes.

Within the Mountain Control (MC) range oriented for Trail / Enduro, Oquo presents two new wheels incorporating a completely new aluminum rim. The new MC32 Team and MC32 Team Power use the new rim tested and developed together with the Orbea FOX Enduro Team in the most extreme conditions in order to withstand the most demanding trails.
The new rim design adds to the changes in the alloy used to make it an even stronger and more impact resistant wheel. This new rim design increases the amount of material in the most critical area of the wheel, achieving up to 50% more resistance. This is combined with a Mini-hook profile, providing superior puncture resistance without drastically increasing weight.
Both wheels use the same rim, although the MC32 Team Power features a specific hub for an e-bike oriented set. All Oquo wheels are manufactured in Europe, but in the case of the MC32 Team and MC32 Team Power the components used in the process are also manufactured in Europe. The brand continues to work to bring the manufacturing of its components as close as possible to Europe.
Personalization Program
It is possible to customize all Oquo LTD wheels from a wide selection of stylish colors through its exclusive color personalization program. As of this year, the brand has also added the graphic option used by both its professional road and mountain teams.
New Lifetime Warranty
As if these new features were not enough, Oquo goes a step further in terms of service and attention to riders and incorporates the lifetime warranty on LTD and Team models, both Mountain Performance (MP) and Mountain Control (MC). This means that in addition to the usual legal warranty, Oquo offers the benefit of a free voluntary lifetime warranty by registering on the oquowheels.com website. This warranty also entitles the holder to repair or replacement in case of breakage or cracking of the wheels.
