ONZA's Latest Release Is Here To Roll, Fast - Welcome the Svelt

The flat, low-profile block tread lets it roll rapidly with virtually no resistance on dry surfaces. Now available in 29x2.3. Alongside the Canis, the SVELT positions itself as the ideal tire for all those who ride on dry and fast terrain.

Characteristics

Low rolling resistance was at the top of our list when the SVELT was being designed. That being said, there was no way we could let it loose out on the mountain trails without some of our aggressive-riding tire DNA. The combination of multiple and proven design elements makes the SVELT a jack of all trades for Cross Country and Marathon riders. 

• The tightly spaced and ramped tread provide slow rolling resistance and guarantees continuous ground contact
• Defined side knobs with dual support for more traction and predictability when cornering
• Traction-supporting characteristic side profile   

SVELT Models and Specs

Rubber Compounds 

All ONZA tires feature a dual compound rubber construction, meaning they consist out of two different rubber compounds with certain properties. Generally spoken a combination of the following rubbers is used in our tires: 

• soft, slow rebounding side knobs(45a)
• harder center tread (50a or 60a)

The XCC casing is optimized for maximum speed and low weight. The choice for Cross Country and Marathon riders.
