Official 2024 Event Schedule: Embrace the Future of Mountain Biking This Weekend in Bellingham

Race, ride, and vibe straight into PNW summer at the third annual NW Tune-Up Festival.

The Northwest Tune-Up Festival is set to rock Bellingham, Washington from July 12-14, 2024. This isn't just another bike fest – it's a full-throttle celebration of PNW culture, combining world-class mountain biking and racing with live music and craft beer. Imagine exploring single-track by day, then kicking back with killer tunes at night. That's the Tune-Up vibe, and it's about to go down this weekend. Featuring a range of sponsored bike events and outdoor activities, offering something for everyone - from casual riders to competitive racers.

Evil Gravel Gran Fundo

(Sunday, 10 AM - 4 PM)

Not all heroes wear lycra. This non-competitive gravel ride is all about good times. With hilarious challenges along the way, like costume contests, dance battles, skid-offs, teeter totters, and track stand games. Prizes and awards aren’t reserved for the ambitious pedallers, rather, the most spirited. Bring the kiddos – there are routes for all levels. REGISTER HERE for the Evil Gravel Gran Fundo, and explore the Chuckanut Mountains along iconic logging roads.

Shimano Pump Track Drag Race

(Friday, AM 12-3 PM / PRO 3-5 PM)

Race head-to-head against friends through the Shire Built pump track gauntlet. With amateur and pro divisions available for all age categories, test your skills or watch as the pros set new course records. To kick-start the first day of your festival REGISTER HERE for the Shimano Pump Track Drag Race online by Thursday at 6pm, or onsite Friday morning.

Maxxis Waterfront Jump Jam

(Saturday, 2-5:30 PM)

Push your limits on the Tile Tank dirt jump line. Whether you're perfecting your first tabletop, gunning for a best-trick award, or simply watching the spectacle unfold - this year's jam promises to be bigger than ever. Featuring a mix of rising talent and world-renowned athletes pushing the limits of what's possible on two wheel.

Legendary freeride mountain biker, Cam McCaul is back on the mic, bringing his signature style and expertise to Bellingham's Downtown Jam.

Space Mesa is playing at Structures Brewing, Thursday before the festival, GET TICKETS to the show.

It doesn't end when the dust settles. After the show, keep the energy flowing with a performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Lupe Fiasco. His electrifying hip-hop set will be the perfect cap to the unforgettable second day of the fest.

Transition Bikes Skills Clinics

(All Weekend - Clinic Schedule)

Level up your riding with pro coaches like Angi Weston. From cornering techniques to mastering drops, these clinics will boost your confidence on any trail. Nothing beats the feeling of progression and unlocking new skills.

Clinics are designed for all ability levels and ages. A limited number of clinic spots will be available for walk-up registration at the Transition Bikes booth in the festival Exhibitor Village.

Outdoor Research Galbraith Mountain Enduro

(All Weekend - Race Schedule)

Experience the legendary Galbraith trails in a competitive setting. From flowy descents to technical challenges, this race will test your skills and endurance on some of the best single-track in the PNW. Space is available for Sunday’s youth class racing, or waitlist for adult classes. The Northwest Tune-Up is a three-day bike, music, and beer festival celebrating the culture of the Pacific Northwest - held annually in Bellingham, Washington. A community-driven event showcasing world-class mountain biking, live music performances, craft beer, and local art. The festival's mission is to support organizations that further cycling access, education, and recreational development, building infrastructure and knowledge to solidify a heritage around the outdoors for generations to come.
