Under the tagline of “Ride Greener”, the motto that briefly but fully sums up the goal of the joint project, Northwave's decade-long, Italian excellence in the production of highperformance bike shoes combines with ACBC's experience in the field of sustainability.

Designed to meet the needs of the outdoor enthusiasts who do not want to compromise between the technicality of their equipment and respect for nature, this limited edition dedicated to the world of two wheels makes innovation and attention to the environment its key pillars.

For ACBC, this collaboration is a way to establish itself as an ideal partner not only in the fashion and lifestyle sector but also for projects with a sports focus, for Northwave it is a step on the broader path taken in the field of environmental responsibility.

While the new Tailwhip Eco Evo remains true to its original, iconic version's soul, long included in Northwave's catalog, it now features new eco-friendly, recycled materials. The upper and the lining, in fact, are made of RePet fabric derived from recycled plastic bottles, with the toe cap and heel further reinforced to ensure maximum protection in the saddle. The insole is made of RePet top layer, while the footbed partially employs ReFoam (recycled polyurethane foam) technology. Finally, the laces are also made of RePet, with natural undyed colors.

The Michelin signature flat sole is made with Hybrid technology, which re-uses rubber scraps from the production processes of the same soles, ensuring maximum grip on the pedals. Moreover, the presence of Northwave and ACBC logos on the side and back makes the shoe easily distinguishable and recognizable.

The Tailwhip Eco Evo will soon be on sale to the public (online and in store) in three color variants: black, green forest and deep blue. It will be sold in dedicated packaging, made of recycled and certified paper, a choice that is consistent with the project's vision. Suggested retail price: €109,99
