New Beginnings for Öhlins Racing’s Mountain Bike Segment Under Brembo’s Ownership 1

Upplands Väsby, Sweden, January 30, 2025 – As of January 2nd, Öhlins Racing is part of the Brembo Group. The companies share the same passion for innovation, technology and performance; as well as the desire to be the best at what they do. There’s great excitement within the Öhlins organization to now join forces with Brembo, a brand and company that matches Öhlins’ ambition to be at the forefront of everything that they do.

The mountain bike industry has gone through some challenging years based on global economic turmoil but is now starting to see a slow recovery in the market. The aim at Öhlins is to continue to create customer value with innovative products. The initial step will be to reallocate resources back into the mountain bike business over time and in line with the market recovery.

Öhlins has always had the core innovation and development at the racetrack. Building on the Downhill success of previous years, Öhlins sees itself in a strong position. The reallocated resources and focus will increase the conversion of racetrack innovation into consumer products.

Recently the RXF36 m.3 was launched, it features an all-new chassis that is lighter and with new settings making it optimized for trail bikes with 140 to 160mm of travel. More new releases are in the pipeline for 2025 and with the increased focus ensures support to all customers.
