After a stacked day of riding or racing, the après energy cranks up and brings everyone back together at the all-ages waterfront venue with 20+ musicians supplying hard-hitting beats—including Lupe Fiasco, RJD2 and Yonder Mountain String Band—and an abundance of leisure activities, including 21 local and regional breweries, live art, family-friendly lawn games, and 3 late-night after parties with special music guests extending each night of the festival.
Over at the Beer Garden, all drink proceeds go towards local MTB infrastructure and development. Beer sales help fund local nonprofit; Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition. Also, to promote this sense of stewardship, storing bikes inside the protected Bike Parking zone benefits supporting organizations like Galbraith Gravity Racing, Shifting Gears, and the Whatcom Rowing Association.
"Northwest tune up fest is an idea so obvious I'm shocked somebody hadn't done it yet. The sort of fantasy had during post-ride drinks with the homies while the threat of work looms."
