The Latest Drop from Northwave - Rockit Plus GTX

Rockit Plus GTX is a shoe designed for those days when you know you want to go out and have fun with your bike but can’t decide where to go, which bike to use, or what type of trail or terrain to tackle. The innovative component of the Rockit Plus GTX, which represents a step forward from the summery Rockit Plus model, is the GORE-TEX Prism S 3-layer membrane. This membrane is highly breathable, waterproof, and windproof, thanks to more than 1 billion pores per square centimeter. These pores, being around 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, allow water vapor to escape while preventing water from penetrating. The lightweight and ultra-thin Prism S 3-layer membrane guarantees lasting waterproofness and features a unique structure that dissipates heat and moisture in all directions. 

The X-Dial SLW3 rotor by Northwave offers a micrometric, fast, and extremely practical closure, even when pedaling. The mechanism is compact, lightweight, easy to replace, and super intuitive to use. Turn the dial closure to tighten the shoe quickly and precisely, and use the top lever for micrometric adjustments, even while pedaling. To fully open the shoe, simply lift the lever and release the mechanism.

Rockit Plus GTX is equipped with a Vibram Wolftrax clipless sole, optimized to make clipping and unclipping the pedal easy. With a large flat area around the clip-in point, the Wolftrax sole offers grip and stability when cycling and when you need to get off the bike and walk. The tread is designed with large lugs and broad areas for pressure release, providing traction and control on all types of terrain. The EVA midsole with a padded heel absorbs even the most intense vibrations and ensures maximum comfort on any terrain.

The upper is made of ripstop and PU, with TPU inserts on the forefoot to prevent abrasion and provide more protection.
