The next evolution of the Kavenz VHP G2 has arrived, setting a new benchmark for high pivot gearbox mountain bikes. The VHP G2 is fully compatible with both the Pinion and Effigear Mimic systems, offering riders wide range of options for drivetrain integration. VHP G2 continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the gearbox mountain biking world. With the cutting-edge technology of VHP suspension and rider-focused modular design, VHP G2 is a real game changer.
The Ultimate Compatibility
This second-gen Kavenz gearbox bike is designed for ultimate compatibility with Pinion P-, C and T-line, smart.shift, and Effigear Mimic systems. If you are the person who loves to push the bike to the limits or a rider who values customization and top-tier tech, the VHP G2 is built for you!
How has the VHP G evolved?
- Pinion Smart Shift Integration: Experience the future with seamless electronic shifting that takes precision and ease to a whole new level. It’s worth to mention that we use Pinon without the speed sensor.
- V7’s Interchangeable Dropouts: Customize your ride with ease! Our versatile, easily swappable dropouts let you fine-tune your bike exactly to your style.
- Innovative Chain Tensioner: We’re in the final stages of testing a brand-new chain tensioner designed to boost performance and durability. We hope to offer it with this new generation!
Virtual High Pivot (VHP) Platform
The Kavenz VHP G2 frames are designed around our proven Virtual High Pivot rear suspension layout. This system offers rearward axle path, providing you with unparalleled control and traction on the steepest tracks. The combination of high anti-squat and low pedal kickback ensures a smooth power transfer, while the balanced anti-rise conserves the geometry even under heavy braking and offers plenty of traction.
While most high-pivot frames use a single-pivot or linkage-driven single-pivot suspension design, our frames rely on the trusted 4 bar suspension layout. That’s why we called it Virtual High Pivot.
One Frame, Many Options
Thanks to our VHP technology you are allowed to convert your VHP G2 into many options (just as with the Kavenz VHP V7). All you have to change is the shock mount and shock. You can also play with the length of your wheelbase using V7’s Interchangeable Dropouts. Our unique modular design allows for easy conversion between models, allowing riders to tune their bikes to riding styles and preferences.
These are possible configurations of the Kavenz VHP G2 frame:
