The first of its kind, the Quick Fill Plasma Valve connects directly without tools, with the sealant bottle tube for direct injection after mounting the tire, resulting in mess free installation. The Quick Fill Plasma Valve enables riders to add sealant on the trail without breaking the tire bead and it resists build up and prevents sealant from clogging and congealing at the valve. No more sticky mess!

The valve features an oversize stem allows for high volume flow, ease of inflation and pressure adjustment. Two piece body and removable valve enables easy cleaning to maintain optimal performance.

I still don’t see how this is in anyway as good as a schrader valve. Pop the valve out of a schrader and you have a huge tide to put sealant down. And they’re cheap as chips.

We just need someone to make them in fancy colours.

I believe a commenter on PB said just call them Presta Boost. Lol

Good looking solution, but still inferior to schrader. Why is the bike industry trying so hard to reinvent the wheel?

Most schrader valved tubes don't have a threaded ring to hold the valve up over the rim, thus making inflation a bit more cumbersome. Because of that the cycling world (even more so for roadies) long ago moved almost exclusively to presta. That means there is a buttload of pumps and CO2 inflators and the like that work only with presta valves, so you're making things very difficult for the people that want to run schrader valves.

Pressfit is also superior to threaded BBs, yet everybody still wants threaded BBs on their bikes for some reason.

The whole cycling world didn't move to presta, BMX and many commuter bikes are schrader. So just roadies really, and mountain bikers were dumb enough to follow them. I would gladly buy a new inflator and pump head if the industry changed over.

After spending nearly 30 minutes yesterday cleaning sealant out of 2 tubeless valves with a pick, I approve of all these new valve designs. Both valves were so clogged I could barely push my floor pump down to force air into the tires.

This still uses the same presta valve though I have to assume it can still clog. It seems to make presta convenient and eliminate tools, not really a way of preventing sealant gunking the valve.

It says "Large diameter section for high flow sealant filling". I wasn't cleaning sealant out of the valve core but the valve body. I'm hoping the larger diameter valve body will help to prevent buildup. It had gunked up so much in my valve bodies I could barely see light through the openings.

Well you did menton you were cleaning the valves and that the valves were clogged...

How come it took you 30 minutes? Removing the valvecore (which should be replaced regularly anyway...) it's basically a straight-through hole? Is it a special design, does it have some weird steps going down? Is it an insert valve that doesn't have a hole all the way through, instead exiting sideways at the bottom?

Getting the tire mounted while full of sealant is probably one of the easier parts of the job. Getting a good rim tape seal and having a high volume pump are the biggest issues I see. Pulling the core out seems to really only be necessary on Orange Seal brand valves for me. New modern tires on modern rims this is a pretty fast exercise. Old/worn floppy tires pretty much require an air compressor.

These do help two issues in a pretty simple manner though.
1. Bigger knurled nut to torque the gasket down into the rime tape/hole for a good seal
2. Big flanged valve nut (don't know what to call that other than valve core nut/seat/base) for popping the valve core out rather than needing to have and/or find a valve core remover

So not needing a set of pliers & allen wrench to embed the valve body & not needing a valve core remover to install sealant/release air quick.

2 to 3 less tools is an improvement.

I don't find that a great amount torque to really helpful in getting a better seal. Some pressure pushing the valve into the rim as I hand tighten the lock ring seems to be enough. There usually isn't a reason to pull the core (unless orange seal brand) with fresh tires, Especially not if you're using an air compressor.
I will say it's probably worth-it if you don't already have an air compressor or a really great floor pump. Really isn't much more expensive than a standard kit.
