Yeti Cycles Adds Robin Goomes to Ambassador Roster 2

The New Zealand freerider will be flying the Yeti flag in 2022!

(Golden, Colo.) — Yeti Cycles announces the official signing of New Zealand athlete Robin Goomes, reinforcing Yeti’s already impressive freeride ambassador roster by adding another young rider to the team.

“I’m super pumped to be riding for Yeti Cycles! It’s a massive privilege to be given the opportunity to progress my riding career as a freerider. Yeti has a stacked team, and the bikes are dialed. Couldn’t be more excited for the seasons ahead!” – Robin Goomes

Goomes has been pushing the limits of freeride for the past season on her SB140 and SB165 with talent and style. A former New Zealand Army member, her focus and dedication to progressing her skillset and her sport will help women’s mountain biking grow to the next level. Goomes’ 2021 season was stacked with highlights — she completed the first ever backflip for a female at Crankworx, won her first international event in Innsbruk, The Whip Off, and was unstoppable at the talent-packed Audi Nines.

“We’re really excited to have Robin join the Yeti ambassador team. She’s part of a stellar group of female riders who are leading the way in progressive, freeride mountain biking. She has proven to be a stylish competitor and we believe she has a bright future.” — Garrett Davis, Director of Marketing

Robin will have a full season ahead, competing in events like Darkfest, Crankworx World Tour, and Audi Nines to name a few. Goomes supported Red Bull Formation last season, a groundbreaking female freeride event and is on-track to be an official rider in 2022.
