The Porcupine is back!
Onza is happy to revise a modern, open and easy-rolling all-mountain tire, beloved by many. Staying true to the idea of the Porcupine tire of the 90s, the placement of the tread lugs is based on the appearance of a porcupine: spiky knobs for extra grip. Also, just like the original Porcupine, tire models are available with black and white tread rubber as well as a skinwall version.
Casings in black and skinwall are available for all tire sizes and widths. The Porcupine is currently available in a dual compound as to balance maximum cornering traction while maintaining good rolling speed and prolong tire wear. Outer, cornering knobs are a softer, 45a compound while the center knobs use a firmer, 60a compound. Additional models in our new GRC casing (Gravity-Casing) and soft compound 50 (50a/45a) to follow!
Head to Onza's website for further details.
