Press Release: Cody Warren Wins Pro GRT Title On Vector HLR 1

Cody Warren Wins The 2011 Pro GRT Overall Title

 

X-Fusion is proud to announce the winning of the Pro GRT DH title by our very own, Cody Warren (DRD X-Fusion Intense). On Saturday August 27th, Cody took 2nd place at Northstar Pro GRT #5 securing his overall position in the series. That date just also happened to be Cody’s 26th birthday. Working with Cody in 2011 has been a great experience and has lead to not only good results on the racetrack, but also to advancements with our product development. We at X-Fusion could not imagine having the same success without Cody and the rest of the team.

 

Cody piloted his Intense M9 with X-Fusion Vector HLR all season on his way to the championship, but the team also piloted development on the 2012 Vector HLR. With significant performance enhancing changes made to the Vector HLR this year it was crucial to work closely with Cody and the rest of DRD X-Fusion Intense.



The largest change implemented to the 2012 Vector shocks was the addition of CVS. CVS (Check Valve System) manages oil flow and isolates the shocks compression and rebound adjustments from affecting one another while providing smoother and more consistent damping throughout the entire stroke at any shaft speed. The increased damper efficiency of the Vector and better tuning range gave our riders the ability to quickly adjust the shocks for any of the tracks on the Pro GRT circuit.

DRD X-Fusion Intense as a team had other noteworthy results at the Tahoe Pro GRT. Cody’s little brother, Austin “Bubba” Warren dominated the junior field by over 8 seconds with a time which would have placed him 6th among the pro men. Bubba plans on moving up and racing in the Pro class next year despite having another junior year remaining. JD Swanguen finished the year strong in 7th place after battling through some lingering injuries while Brad King had his best result of the year in 12th place.
