New Santa Cruz Blur XC, TR and Juliana Wilder Bikes 4

Updated speed machines with flex stays for SCB.

With two World Cup XC races out of the way, Santa Cruz has made their new Blur and Juliana Wilder bikes public. The Blur gets the XC and TR build options while the Wilder is only TR. The frame has been refined with a lighter weight, slight more stretched out and slacker layout, suspension kinematic tweaks and Superlight flex stay design. Here is the quick and dirty breakdown.

  • Blur offered in XC or TR modes, Wilder in TR mode
  • Travel (XC): 100mm R / 100mm F
  • Travel (TR): 115mm R / 120mm F
  • TR = "Not a Trail Bike"
  • 289g lighter than previous Blur
  • Superlight Suspension (flex stays)
  • Lower, consistent leverage curve reduces anti-squat and chain influence on suspension
  • Two bottles inside front triangle
  • Size-specific chainstay lengths
  • 60mm stems, longer reach, slacker head tube angle
  • Reserve 28|XC wheel option
  • Wheel Size: 29-inch
