Mona Mitterwallner Joins Cannondale and CFR

The Austrian phenom has signed with Cannondale Factory Racing.

The 19-year-old Austrian XCO star started racing in 2017 and has quickly climbed up the ranks leading to the milestone announcement of her joining the Cannondale Factory Racing Team today. In 2020, Mona won the Junior World Cup and then went on to dominate the scene in 2021—she became the U23 Women’s favorite with Austrian National, European, and World titles including Elite Marathon World Champion, U23 XCO World Champion, and 2021 winner of the UCI U23 MTB World Cup, making her the youngest world champion in this discipline to date. Now joining the Cannondale family with CFR, Mona has big hopes and dreams as her career continues to flourish. Her passion and hardworking, teamwork mentality make her the perfect fit for CFR family.
