Magura USA is happy to welcome Eric Porter as it's newest Brand Ambassador. Porter, is a professional mountain bike adventurer exploring the world on two wheels. His background includes competing in Slopestyle, DH and riding Trials. Porter grew up riding and racing XC in Louisville, KY, a surprising midwest hotspot for MTB. "I bought my first set of Magura brakes almost 20 years ago, some HS-22’s for my first trials bike. So now, I'm super happy to be on Magura again" Porter says. Eric has had many of his amazing adventures documented for print and video including the IMAX feature, "National Parks Adventure", and other video work for National Geographic, Outside Magazine and Subaru commercials.
"Eric represents the exact type of rider that we love here at Magura. Multi-skilled, a love for the outdoors on two wheels and sharing his adventures with anyone willing to listen", said Jeff Enlow, Magura USA President. Porter will be using Magura performance products such as the MT Brakes and Vyron Elect wireless dropper post on all of his bikes for 2017 and beyond. Additionally, Eric will assist the Magura team with testing and R&D, and also use his position and experience to promote mountain biking, particularly to kids, including forming a new Magura Grom Team. Porter will be joining Olympian and World Champion Ruthie Matthes, as well as Multi-x World Cup DH winners Chris Kovarik and Claire Buchar, and moto stunt star Aaron Colton as Magura Brand Ambassadors.
