Glide, a leader in outdoor recreation products since 2010 is pleased to announce our new ultra-long range, electric assist, mountain bike product line which we have dubbed: ROAM. Since our inception, we have reinvented every product category that we have entered. In the stand up paddle board universe, we introduced the first ultra-durable hard board that could survive the rigors of whitewater paddling. We then took the knowledge we gleaned from paddle board fitness and invented the Glide Fit Aquatic Stability Program which combines a paddle board-like product with a fitness program for pools which has quickly become one of the most popular fitness classes in gyms and clubs globally.
The ROAM comes equipped with a 840wh battery for all day adventure. The bike also has a full carbon frame with 150mm rear travel, paired with 160mm RockShox Yari fork, SRAM SX drivetrain, Magura MT5 brakes and assisted with the Ananda M230 250w motor producing up to 100nm of torque. The ROAM is a mullet setup trail/enduro bike that will take you 60+ miles and 7000 feet of climbing and - most importantly - it’s fun to ride.

Our initial concept for the ROAM was that we wanted to create a powerful eMTB that was not limited by range, but still had a great feel and was fun to ride. The ROAM reach and seat tube angle make it a very comfortable bike to rack up miles on, while its 64.5 head angle make it an absolute blast to ride downhill while allowing the rider to eat up technical terrain with a high amount of confidence. The ROAM also loves to get air and double up small rollers so the rider can take advantage of every trail feature they can find.
