Finale Outdoor Region Launches FOR YOU CARD to Support Trails with Fabien Barel!

Finale Outdoor Region, the extended territory around Finale Ligure on the Italian Riviera, is launching a project that aims to make trail-maintenance sustainable. The founding system is based on collecting a small % of the turnover generated by mountain bikers in the local business that work with bikers.

Home of the 24H of Finale, Superenduro and, since 2013, of the Enduro World Series, the area has seen an incredible growth of riders throughout an almost endless riding season. For many years, trail building and maintenance has been mainly a volunteer work with some help from event organization and local businesses such as hotels, shuttle companies, guides and shops, etc. 

Volunteer and semi-professional work can not keep up anymore with the growing numbers and needs of the destination. 

With peaks of riders visiting in spring and fall, the local trail network is heavily under pressure and needs a long term, sustainable and stable system to guarantee safe and good, fun riding for everyone. The FOR YOU CARD is the first Loyalty card to sustain trail building and has been created by Finale Outdoor Region, the destination management organization.

Using the FOR YOU CARD is as easy as riding bikes, eating delicious food and tasty beers, it’s cheap (10€/year) and let the rider gain points, discounts and coupons to further enjoy staying in Finale Outdoor Region.
