With the same tidy mounting points as our original FOX Mud Guard, plus 85% more coverage, the new XL Mud Guard for the 36/38 eliminates the need for fork-scratching zip ties and ensures your line of sight stays clear. It also reduces maintenance downtime by minimizing the amount of debris hitting your stanchions and fork seals.

How did you increase coverage by 85%?
By extending the mud guard forward under the fork arch as well as adding length to the rear, we have a huge amount of coverage in a small, unobtrusive package. Adding material around the arch also increases  protection  for  the  area  surrounding  your  fork  seals  and  stanchions.

Are the mounting points secure?
With  2  bolt-on  mounting  points  at  the  arch,  and  by  utilizing  the  lower leg bleed valves as supporting mounting points, the new XL Mud Guard follows the same proven mounting as our original.

What’s maximum tire clearance?
Max tire clearance 29x2.5/27.5x2.7.

What forks does this new mud guard fit?
The XL Mud Guard fits model year 2021 and newer FOX 36 and 38 forks.
