Devinci Cycles is refining and expanding on their e-bike, mountain line; revising the AC and DC 29 as well as adding the all new EP. All of the 2020 models use the same Shimano Steps e-MTB drive system with a 250-watt E8000 motor. Bikes are claimed to go 100km (62.1-miles) on a single charge. Each of the e-bikes use a 6066-T6 alloy frame, protected with molded rubber guards on the downtube and chainstay. Every frame is backed by Devinci's lifetime warranty. A flip-chip in the upper shock mount allows for adjustments for each of the Split Pivot bikes' geometry.
The 2020 AC is back and ready for e-MTB enduro action with geometry tweaks to keep with today's expectations from riders. A 180mm travel FOX 36 is present on the front of both models, the 170mm of rear travel is tamed by a coil FOX DHX2. The AC maintains 27.5-inch wheels front and rear which are wrapped in Maxxis 27.5x2.8-inch tires.
- AC GX 11s - 53.9-pounds (24.46kg), $7,899 USD ($8,499 CAD / 6,799 Euro)
- AC NX 11s - 54.4-pounds (24.68), $6,099 USD ($7,299 CAD / 5,799 Euro)
Also returning for 2020 is the DC 29, Devinci's 130mm travel 29er. Receiving similar updates as the AC, the DC 29 is positioned as an aggressive e-MTB offering. Both trim levels use a FOX 36 fork with 160mm of travel as well as a FOX Float Evol rear shock controlling the 150mm of rear travel. Tires are Maxxis a High Roller and Minion DHR 29x2.6-inch combination.
- DC GX 11s - 53.35-pounds (24.2kg), $6,899 USD ($8,299 CAD/ 6,599 Euro)
- DC NX 11s - 53.97-pounds (24.48kg), $5,799 USD ($6,999 CAD / 5,599 Euro)
All-new this year is the EP 29, a 130mm travel trail 29er. A less-aggressive bike than the AC or DC, the EP utilizes a 140mm travel FOX Rhythm 34 Performance Elite fork and a Float DPS Performance rear shock for the 130mm of rear travel. The EP is offered in just one trim, the EP NX 11s. It is priced at $5,499 USD ($6,599 CAD / 5,599 Euro) and weighs 54.15-pounds (24.56kg).
