Bell Releases the New Super Air R Convertible Fullface Enduro Helmet 4

Lighter, safer and with more features, the new Super Air R from Bell ups the removable chin-bar helmet standard.

As pioneers of removable chin bar technology, we have a legacy to uphold and overcome. We designed the Super Air R from the ground up to push the boundaries of performance and versatility. With class-leading Flex Spherical + MIPS technology, superior ventilation, a total weight that is 144 grams lighter than its predecessor and an easy 2-click removable chin bar, this is a true all-mountain performer.

Technical features

  • Flex Spherical + MIPS
  • Float Fit
  • Progressive layering
  • Wraparound Protection
  • Overbrow Ventilation
  • Goggle guide
  • Integrated breakaway camera mount
  • Sweat Guide
  • X-Static Padding

The new Super Air R incorporates 18 helmet vents plus an additional eight in the chin bar, along with four brow ports. That is a massive amount of air moving through the helmet. What remains is a helmet that meets CPSC Bicycle and CE EN1078 standards through our Fusion in-mold polycarbonate construction. Furthering the safety features, the Super Air R utilizes Bell's Flex-spherical system as well as MIPS. Bell's Float Fit system ensures that the Super Air R will stay in place and fit your head properly.

Technical features of the new Super Air R include a goggle guide adjustable visor, so you can stash your goggles out of the way as well as an integrated, breakaway camera mount. The sweat guide inside channels moisture out of the way and is absorbed by the X-Static helmet padding.
