The area is unique and it feels a world away from the bustle of Auckland city. For the ultimate beach front camping experience we recommend booking at Tapapakanga Regional Park beachfront campground

Fourforty is open Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends plus extended hours over the summer holidays December and January. They are even hosting the first round of the NZ national DH series on the 13th of January if racing is your thing! We found the best value is to book online a half or full day shuttle pass and rental bike. This way you have your spot locked in. You can also just rock up and purchase shuttle passes if that suits better. The website also has helpful daily weather and opening updates.
