What a crap medal ceremony
Bur lots of love and respect for the drivers
Norbs was robbed.
Glad to see Stark at least got a medal. I'm still slightly confused at what REAL mtb is to the judges or anyone else. Obviously street isn't the 'real' place where MTB edits take place. But crafting courses that look like Crankworx or Rampage lines doesn't quite feel real either.
I feel like Brage really set the standard of what real mtb is by having very hand crafted but still natural lines using natural terrain and wood and stuff. Mostly one hitters. But still some fun and cool lines.
And in that sense I think Macduff had the most Brage-esque plan hitting so many different things. Where as Dylan really leans into his BMX street background maybe too much. Which I think is great but I dunno if that's what people are looking for in these events.
No disrespect to TVS but I don't think one berm shralp clip in slomo diversifies 1 minute of Crankworx/Rampage trick lines. It's almost telling that they felt compelled to throw that in.
That was painful to watch. Probably just as well they aren't giving out awards to the presenters.
