Believe it or not, it's been eight years since Bell introduced the Full 9 helmet that introduced a new standard for comfort, protection, and detail for a full face helmet. The Fusion 9 followed a few years later in 2019, incorporating MIPS protection and striking a lower price point, but since then, Bell has continued to ride out the success of its Full 9 platform. So why develop a new helmet? Even though the Full 9 and Fusion 9 were exceptional helmets, Bell wanted to focus on improving key aspects of their full face helmet to raise the bar for helmet safety and rider expectation.
After almost six years of development, Bell introduces the Full-10 Spherical. Designed using spherical technology developed in cooperation with MIPS, with feedback from their top athletes, the Full-10 is Bell's most advanced full face helmet, with improved safety, ventilation, goggle compatibility, and fitment. Check out all the details below, plus our initial impressions of the Full-10 after a week of riding in Whistler.

---------------------------------------------------------
For the last half century, the name Bell has been synonymous with competition. Our pedigree has been tested between the tape of racecourses all over the world. Along the way, we’ve teamed with the best riders in the industry to break every boundary we could find. The accumulation of World Championships, legendary runs, and DNFs bear out the commitment to pushing our own limits. All this work has led us here: the Full-10 Spherical.
Building on the success of the Full-9, along with feedback from trusted athletes and featuring new technologies we developed in-house, the Full-10 Spherical was engineered to be the new standard in DH fit, protection, and style.
Created in the Bell+Giro testing Dome in Scotts Valley, CA, our proprietary Spherical Technology powered by MIPS® features a Ball-and-Socket design that helps redirect impact forces away from the brain, allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. In addition, the Spherical Technology channels inside the lightweight unidirectional carbon shell allow us to achieve superior ventilation like never before—what we are calling our Thermal Exchange Airflow System (T.E.A.S.). This system sucks in cool air like a vacuum and then expels hot air through the side and rear exhaust ports, because, as any rider knows, ventilation and sweat management go hand-in-hand.
With the Full-10, the effort is evident—from Ionic+TM antimicrobial* comfort padding and magnetic cheek pads to an integrated breakaway camera mount and titanium D-rings on the chin strap. This work has all been for you the rider, because when you are in the start gate, or at the lip of the jump that will launch you to glory, we want you to only be thinking about the ride ahead.
Proprietary Spherical Technology powered by MIPS®
As the demands of racing increase, so does the need for increased protection. The Full-10 offers Spherical Technology powered by MIPS. Created in the Bell+Giro testing Dome in Scotts Valley, CA, our proprietary Spherical Technology features a Ball-and-Socket design that helps redirect impact forces away from the brain, allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. Because of the Spherical Technology channels inside the carbon shell, we achieve superior sweat management, weight reduction, and ventilation like never before—all without compromising energy management.
Thermal Exchange Airflow System
This ventilation is so extreme, we named it the Thermal Exchange Airflow SystemTM (T.E.A.S.) because of how it sucks in cool air like a vacuum and then expels hot air through the side and rear exhaust ports. And as any rider knows, ventilation and sweat management go hand-in-hand.
Basicly the bicycle version of the Bell Moto 10 helmet
So, frgn, ugly
Doesn't have a breakaway visor though, so that's cool. Having a hard time getting over that MSRP though.
