EDIT - Note the chain stay protector on his bike, and frame angles by his heel, also possible frame wrap on the down tube?.....which looks familiar and could further suggest where he's probably heading this year. He and Dunne also rocking the same Alpinestars jacket and lid from recent insta posts and the Dyfi scrub shot.
I can't explain the situation with Dak and his recent post re the Intense jump bike, so guess we'll have to see, but I strongly suspect he will not be on an Intense M1 come Fort Bill in May. ITFR has said they won't be on Intense Cycles in 24 which potentially paves the way for MS to become MS Intense, but not a "Factory" team in name. I heard word that MS was parting ways with Mondraker in mid October with Zerode and Intense being possible new frame sponsors. Trummer has been pretty quiet from what I've seen on socials about any moves, but given he's still got MS Mondraker Team on his bio and has been seemingly spotted on board an Intense at Dyfi last week, it could be coincidence but...
Is it just me who'd love to see the cryptic cartoons and doodles from the vital team rumours of old much more.....they were fun
You can ride on a Mondraker, on a team, and not be on MS, just saying.
You are right @Topperharley, you can, haha. There is a team not far from me in Bristol in the UK that rides Mondrakers, and also a development team that is sponsored by Muc-off that rides Mondraker....some pretty fast kids on it from what I've seen. Think one is a Junior who was at Fort William world champs last year.
MS doesn’t make bikes, they’re just the racing team name. Mondraker is the bike manufacturer. Incase you didn’t know, hope that didn’t come across as mean.
I did know cheers, and no it didn't come across as mean....I'm jus pretty lame at putting sentences togetherI was a proud owner of a Monny...
I did know cheers, and no it didn't come across as mean....I'm jus pretty lame at putting sentences togetherI was a proud owner of a Monny enduro a while back until some knobhead pilfered it. What I was trying to get across was that Mondraker and the team were trying out idlers on their carbon Summums a couple years ago.
Mondrakers proto type is alloy.
Going off previous bikes. They will then do an alloy production bike. Then begin to develop on to carbon…
this is what they did with the change to 27.5, then 29er
i think we all know he's moving on, just saying that pic isnt necessarily his new ride. why don't you give us a nice little inside...
i think we all know he's moving on, just saying that pic isnt necessarily his new ride. why don't you give us a nice little inside hint, I mean, I helped build and maintain so many aliso laguna trails since 2000 that I kinda feel like you owe me from all evidence it's Mondraker so congrats to him, can't wait to watch him kill it next year!
Still can believe no one will listen to me and @Togger250 .
Mate, I think you are confused. No one is arguing about the existence of a Mondraker team.
MS team is switching from Mondraker to Intense frame sponsorship. David Trummer riding an M1 and all the Intense and MS social media posts back this up.
Mondraker is starting a new factory team. Ronan and Pinky look pretty solid.
Dak still posting riding his Intense DJ bike suggests he could end up on MS to replace Brook, but earlier rumours suggested he was going to Mondraker. We'll know soon enough.

I think yer right.
Dak had said previously that stuff wasn’t changing for him much and was looking forward to the consistency, which to me means he’ll be still on an Intense bike frame
General question, is there a dead line for teams to announce there rosters? Similar to other pro sports leagues?
I think yer right.

“??? Intense & MS Intense Racing” fills all spaces…
Based off absolutely nothing other than the number of letters above and their previous history together, maybe FMD are back on Intense? Their insta account doesn't have Canyon or Cllctv tagged (if it ever did?).
By that logic too, Joe Breeden also fits the letters, he didn't say he was leaving Intense (only IFR) and he's currently in Cali.

Interesting. Is it more likely to be the domestic team that’s been mentioned throughout the last pages than a second big team though?
I couldn’t see FMD having the confidence to switch to a brand that hasn’t had one solid bike for the last few seasons, especially with this hopefully being Tahnee’s comeback year. Plus, you’d have expected them to make a heap of noise about something new? They’re a marketing force.

I couldn’t see FMD leaving Canyon, either. Between all the rumbles about MS Intense and Intense stating they’re going to support a more youthful, US based team, add to that Jeff blatantly posting they’re sponsoring two teams, I highly doubt it. With Tanhee being a top 5 racer and Instagram posi-talk role model, I think she would be considered good ROI on Canyon’s part.

I'm not sure intense is financially right to put out as a title sponsor this season.

Brook McD still riding Mondraker Bikes with Öhlins in his latest Insta. Maybe on Mondraker Factory?
They would have offered him a ride if they wanted to or he would have agreed to a sponsorship if he wanted to. It wasn't a secret for them that the end of MS Mondraker would leave Brook without a ride...

Baseless rumour spotted on the French forums: Daprela's exit from Commencal could be to make space for Vergier. Anyone keeping track of when his Trek contract is up?

If that’s the case. It would leave 2 seats at TFR. As Kade is also not racing next year

To be fair, his older footage on trail bikes he's always been on Fox forks - could be something there?
I think he just no longer has a sponsorship deal. So he got a stock Mondraker before his deal was up and is riding it. While sponsored he would swap out forks and suspension, now he’s just riding what he’s got.

Is there any better self-promoter than Hans Rey? Good on him for the life he’s made for himself riding bikes.

MS Intense?
Looks like two blank spaces there, so I'm guessing their US Factory development team and MS-Intense
Does counting the dots work?

TRP Intense & MS Intense Cycles 🤷🏼♂️
FMD is a good guess too

So who was Jeff building frames for in that post? And why was MS rider Trummer on an M1? Do we need more clues at this point?
Not saying Dak is on it (hoping he is), but MS Intense seems pretty obvious at this point.

Why should he buy a new bike if he can use the bikes he had the last season for free?
Ho no, you speak logical when we just want drama.

But spend money to switch from Fox to Öhlins?
that is a stock foxy build
Yes, MS Mondraker was on Fox. So if he uses his old bikes he should ride a Fox instead of Öhlins.
To be fair, his older footage on trail bikes he's always been on Fox forks - could be something there?
