according to some that are in-the-know, nukeproof and vitus cease to exist with these layoffs (they were still holding on in the UK). if this is true, any rider with "nukeproof" listed in their world cup team name should be asking questions.

Nigel Page also been visiting Intense HQ by the looks of it?

I was pretty startled that Danny was on the team unless the team is a privately sponsored team with it's own capital and the frames were NukeProof's contribution.
I smell a sudden dip in Horizon pedal inventory & have an eagerness to buy a 2nd pair of Blackline pants before they're "vapor".
Nigel Page just put a goodbye and thanks post on Instagram. I find this super sad, as he is one class act as a human being. I read this as in ”hopes were still on until the last moment”. I can't wish him and the team anything else but the best.
I want to add one more thing here: I met Pagey 22 years ago at the Worlds. He was injured and watched the races from the side and somehow I ended up talking to him. Being the kid in love with racing that I was and still am, I asked for his team jersey before we left. He said he didn't have one with him, but asked for my address. 3 months later, in the middle of winter, when I totally forgot and wasn't expecting anything a package appeared with a brand new jersey inside, with his name and the team sponsors on it. I was nobody, just a kid at the races. Needless to say, this made my day and it's something I will never ever forget. The jersey is framed and exhibited since 10+ years in our local bike shop. It's obviously not about the jersey, but about the person who would care enough to do something like that. Pagey is someone to look up to, no doubt.
I've compiled a list of moves in enduro racing for this winter, covering the top 40 MEN and top 20 WOMEN. Hopefully, I haven't missed anything. Here are some interesting stats:
- None of the men from the top 20 remain without a team
- 9 men from the top 40 are currently without a team
- 3 men switched to E-EDR
- 1 free agent, Elliot Jamieson, has signed with a team
- There haven't been as many moves in women's racing, with only Bex Baraona and Katy Winton left without a team.
7 Daniel Booker - Nukeproof Sram Factory Racing -> Santa Cruz/Sram free agent
12 Dimitri Tordo - Canyon Cllctv Factory Enduro -> Commencal (not sure if Enduro Project Team)
14 Jose Borges - switched to E-EDR racing, still at Canyon Cllctv Factory Enduro
15 Jack Menzies - Polygon Factory Racing -> Canyon Cllctv Factory Enduro
16 Zakarias Johansen - Ibis Enduro Team -> Cube Action Team
17 Brady Stone - Polygon Factory Racing -> Marin Bikes (free agent?)
18 Elliot Jamieson - was a free agent at Norco -> Commencal 7Mesh
21 Greg Callaghan - Devinci Global Racing -> NO TEAM
27 Vid Persak - Orbea Fox Enduro Team -> NO TEAM
28 Evan Wall - Devinci Global Racing -> NO TEAM
29 Kelan Grant - Nukeproof Sram Factory Racing -> Rotwild Gravity Team (E-EDR)
30 Matthew Stuttard - Polygon Factory Racing -> NO TEAM
31 Corey Watson - Nukeproof Sram Factory Racing -> NO TEAM
32 Torben Drach - Raaw//BC Bike Gracity Team -> Rotwild Gravity Team (E-EDR)
33 McKay Vezina - Giant Factory Off-Road Team -> still on the team, but as a coach
34 Elliot Heap - Nukeproof Sram Factory Racing -> NO TEAM
35 Colton Peterson - Ibis Enduro Team -> NO TEAM
37 Cole Lucas - Ibis Enduro Team -> NO TEAM
39 Tarmo Ryynanen - was riding a Specialized, but no team -> Simplon Trailblazers
40 Oliwer Kangas - Canyon (?) -> NO TEAM
5 Bex Baraona - Yeti / Fox Factory Race Team -> NO TEAM
11 Raphaela Richter - Ibis Enduro Team -> Simplon Trailblazers
12 Andreane Lanthier Nadeau - Rocky Mountain Race Enduro Team -> Commencal 7 Mesh
15 Katy Winton - GT Continental Factory Racing -> NO TEAM
20 Helen Weber - Raaw//BC Bike Gravity Racing Team -> Rotwild Gravity Team (E-EDR)

I read on the other site that he'd been seen visiting Intense HQ. Hoping it's for a new role and not just old times sake.

People still convinced Hart is being paid to ride a Nukeproof. haha. Good one.

I was under the impression that Vid should be announcing something new? Seemed like it was his choice to leave Orbea, usually you do that when you get a different offer. Could be wrong though, don't have any insider info.
I have Greg Callaghan on my strava feed, he was all over France and Italy for the last month which I assumed were team camps. Surprised he wouldn't get a ride as he is good on the marketing side.

Thought this was pretty impressive and worth posting about, Tyler waite who will be first year juinor this year racing for yeti development team got the fastest overall time of the day at nz national champs with a pretty stacked field. Gonna be one to watch out for this year

Looking forward to Asa vs. Tyler this year!
*edit: Come to think of it, with the times these two have been posting in the last year, we could very well see a repeat of what Goldstone and Williams were doing in ‘22, when they often posted the fastest time of the whole weekend. SO STOKED. #dhrulez
Syndicate on OneUp bars this season. Guess it makes sense with both being owned by PONS.
Mike Ashley? Welp.

Would be cool to see those two working together! However my money is still on the Straits going to the same brand (Fezzari)
Elliott Heap also off NP.

Will surely be the same news for Brayton and Hill the way things are going?

People still convinced Hart is being paid to ride a Nukeproof. haha. Good one.
Hart isn’t being paid by Nukeproof. He’s on a team which used Nukeproof frames. All being well they’ll hopefully be able to get a new frame sponsor
I was under the impression that Vid should be announcing something new? Seemed like it was his choice to leave Orbea, usually you do that when you get a different offer. Could be wrong though, don't have any insider info.
EDIT: from his IG post: https://www.instagram.com/p/C1cVS8XsvSp/?hl=en
And he was hiding the (new?) bike riding down south in Slovenia in some IG stories before this announcement.
I have Greg Callaghan on my strava feed, he was all over France and Italy for the last month which I assumed were team camps. Surprised he wouldn't get a ride as he is good on the marketing side.
Nigel Page making it official
Uh oh. Neko's letting Zink do runs on a Frameworks.
Sad times. I'm sure Nigel will land on his feet somewhere soon. He's done incredible things with the teams/brands he's been apart of.
Hill's wife already kind of hinted retirement months ago
Frameworks x Sensus FR ltd edition would be pretty cool. ALL THE RIDERS!
I would be good with Pagey back in the box for World Cup, worth a shot
It sure makes sense with the rumour of riding his own bike.
Was wondering why Kovarik and wife were tagged, didn't think they were on Nukeproof.
I asked him if he was doing a dh bike and he said no.
Was Kovarik on CRC intense?
think Pagey was thanking everyone he’s worked with through CRC
Kovarik been on intense since Jesus was a boy.
Think CRC Intense was Kovakik , Matti and Claire
Plus Matt Simmonds and Lewis Buchanan at times. Also possibly Ruairidh Cunningham, and some others.
