According to Neko’s instagram: The Frameworks van got stolen from hotel parking lot and recovered. All frames and wheels (race bikes and Spesh e-bikes) stolen out of it and missing. Sucks so bad.

ENVE chimed in on the PB comments w/ this "Our wheelbuilders are building up fresh wheels for the team, which should ship out tomorrow. Spares are coming the team's way as well. Let's get the boys back to the races!"

MW also chimed in and said that Neko was currently flying home to get spare frames and other stuff.

Full comment:

"Neko is on a flight home now to get more frames and put together what we need. We weren't comfortable asking for public financial suppoirt when we have insurance and great sponsors rallying for us. The time before race 2 makes it more complicated for sure. My other big concern is our mechanics who had their personal tool boxes stolen, which as we know is a real kick to the balls for these guys that work so hard for their riders. Their personal tool boxes are their personal assets. I will speak to Neko about a GoFundMe for Anxo and Josiah who will be keen to get back on the tools in Poland. Thank you everyone for the heartfelt messages received. Buy merch off the Frameworks website, it all helps!"

Good perspective from MW for sure. A testament to his time in the business.

I'm confident Neko's race team can get what they need. It's for Anxo and new mechanic, Josiah, that fingers are pulling at my heart strings. Pro tools are damn near expensive and often, oddly personal. And, their salaries are typically well, not to be envied.

Neko and his crew has done more for grassroots racing than anyone in the US, possible world, no hyperbole.

If they feel comfortable setting up a GFM for the mechanics or other staff, I'm all im.

The most common response to Neko's and Logan's videos are the compliments for their upfront honesty about successes and failures. If the team feels they need help, I'm confident it's genuine, and certainly, it's been paid in advance.

Agree on the tools and the personal aspect, that is brutal. Hopefully the tools are insured also and even if so, it will take time to get the $. Hopefully the tool community is helping out and if a GFM is needed in the interim, I am in.

Enve stepped up pretty quick with wheels.

Would like to see Park or Unior tools do the same

Anybody know if the BME DH rounds are gonna be broadcast or have live timing available? They're headed to windrock this weekend.

That bit about Frameworks customers offering their frames got me feeling stuff. Thank you, mountain bike people.

It is heartwarming to hear about genuine acts of kindness, ordered a couple of shirts. Here is hoping that what was stolen is still recovered and returned to it's rightful owners.

Grabbed a few shirts as well.  For any bike company selling clothing, please sell tank tops. There are going to be Vitalmtb tank tops right?

Is it too early to ask "Do you still beat your wife?"

Day late, dollar short, but first post-race B Practice Podcast of the year is live!

As always, Dak had some rad insight into his race run, where he thought others were faster, why he likes his bars so high, and electronic suspension doohickeys. He's also pissed he was only $95k for fantasy last weekend, but I'm sure his value will go up next weekend Laughing

No Enduros on the specialized enduro team. Kevin is also running the SD coil with what looks like a remote lockout.

Some big criticism here. If liaisons really were that shorts it’s very understandable though, rocche gianche is fucking terrifying and the other stages are „flowy“ trails but still Finale trails and some are reeeally long

Stage 4 was cancelled for the Elite riders due to 'a big crash' and although it's not necessarily the case that this crash was related to the criticism from Bex, it's an unfortunate coincidence at best.

Hope the rider concerned is okay and heals up quickly.

Checking the live feed to see what the stage results are is less than ideal. #makeendurogreatagain

Isn’t this what early EWS was tho? I thought riders were complaining that it got too short and easy?

For context, Bex finished in 21st place 6:38 minutes back. Imagine being Hattie Harden who trained her ass off all year, competed in multiple XC and DH races and smoked the competition to hear 21st place say the pace “violated human rights” lol, gtfo

One can get last place and still have the right to complain if they feel like organizers messed up.

I think there can be a line between hard and overdone to a point where riders can’t get down safe because they have no time to recover.

seems like half of the riders i follow on IG have something negative to say about the liaison times, so it’s not like this is a single opinion. At the end of the day the best riders won, doesn’t mean you should disregard all of the rest.
