Just bored and curious, during the colder months what do us mountain bikers to do to bide the time?
Poll
I like skiing a lot. I wish I lived somewhere near the mountains to have the possibility to ski more often.
I don't do much sport in winter, only some yoga in the morning. Of course it is only me, i honestly feel that i became more lazy, especially since i started paying for research paper https://paperfellows.com/pay-for-research-paper for my college. Before i had a lot of stress with my studies and felt like i am losing it in one point. Moving slowly doesn't mean staying behind, it just means that everything will happen in the right moment.
I went back to mountain biking as an adult to fill the time between snowboard seasons, but now I would have a hard time picking between the two. A good snow day in the mountains is amazing, but is so difficult to attain regularly while living in Kansas.
Where I live, MTB is epic in the winter. If anything, I'm looking for a better summer sport. It's hard to get up the will to go pedal when it's 110 outside.
In the winter, the only thing that stops me is torrential rain - that only happens a few days per year.
Cycling in winter is a challenge here because the winter in the north is very cold. If you ride, you can only dance with the bicycle on the ice.
Nothing/beer/ps5. I hate riding in the cold, wet and mud. I get negative enjoyment from it, plus it ruins my bike.
I'm retired though so have unlimited time to make up for it and ride anytime in the summer months, rather than just weekends.
I love wet riding but then it shagged my BB so now I'm at the precipit of throwing away my television I need a new hobby.
Or perhaps a new bike ! but full suspension is to expensive (
