Will this ratchet ring damage a new freehub body?

I recently had a hub axle break. It destroyed the freehub body and damaged the ratchet ring (see photo, the worst teeth are at the bottom of the photo). I have a new wheel hub and freehub body on order. Because the weather is so nice right now, I would like to take 3 or 4 more rides (~20 miles total) with the new freehub body on the old hub and then rebuild the wheel later. Will this ratchet ring damage my new freehub body if I do this?
