USDH! haha

My missus (Leigh Donovan) is there doing the on track announcing with that bad ass announcer, Will (forgot his last name), her first gig announcing haha but she knows a thing about racing (do your homework kids).

Anyway, she said there will be an attempt at a live stream, she dropped the link:

yeah, it's rad so far.

the toughest part is that USA Cycling sent emails about sponsors who signed on for the race (as early as yesterday), but never received a results email or an email that there was live stream. only found out via Leigh Donovan (who's there announcing DH and DS). She told her husband Stik (above about it), who told me. Was there any news this live feed existed??
*stik isn't promoting live stream - he only texted saying he was surprised to learn there was one : )

The vast majority of US MTB Race promoters/organizers are terrible about getting results/coverage out.
Typical MTB race---media blackout!

too late to put a disclaimer on the video link? I am not advocating or promoting it hahaha, but, if you are a super fan-run it!

Hey, the good news is, we can watch (at a price) some live USDH, more than we can say about EWS? Wink lol......

i would pay for FloSports if the slalom was covered!
Such a bummer, especially when Leigh and Trill Will would entertain the heck out of people! McGill did a great job on that track!

Trill Will here! DS was killer this year. We had a bracket of 32 for Junior 15-18, 16, for Pro Women, and 16 for Pro Men. Hopefully the other live streams go well so we can get DS streamed next year.

Enduro racers start dropping in at 7:30. DH seeding for Pros and Cat 1's is this afternoon and will be live streamed on Flosports. Looks like 7 cameras on track so we will see how it goes!

stoked to check out DH seeding and race day live! it's not cheap (appears to be $150 year sub as only option for all of Flo), but why not? support the scene.

Enduro racing was tight! Cody took the win, followed by Mitch, and Trevor McCutcheon in third.

On the women’s side, it was Amy Morrison, Porsha Murdoch, and Lia Westerman (1, 2, 3).

I limped home in 22nd. Still have DH later to try and redeem myself. Cool

Looks like Flosports has a mtb worlds feed- and it doesn’t even appear to be geo restricted. Just checked my usac account dashboard and and with an active membership the Flosports subscription is $120.

Wow, those Intense DH bikes must really be subpar. Sucking the speed right out of some fast guys!
Even more apparent on the WC stage.

From what I (and the Rooted MTB guys like Austin HK who thinks Aaron Gwin is a cool and wildly fast dude) saw on course throughout practice, Gwin was very very fast and so was Dakota.
The track required a lot of precision and because it was relatively flat, punished mistakes harshly. I have full belief that the bike isn’t holding Aaron back and his non-medal result is more due to the level of racing in the USA right now making mistakes in runs no longer allowed.
PS Dakota came through the final ski run section and next corner in the trees like a madman on his final practice run, it was the most impressive thing I saw this weekend.

Agreed man. I don't think it's the bike.
Neko isn't far off his usual results.
A big part of winning in DH is having your head in the right place.
Dak is on fire at the moment and he is riding with wicked confidence.
Gwin is still trying to get his mojo back after the bad run of injuries. Listen to the podcast he did with Spomer. He was talking about taking safe lines in a world cup race. That's not going to win it. I think he'll be back winning when he gets his confidence back.
