Alwhats the difference in these bikes, would anyone recommend anyone of them or another bike?
In short:
Fuel EX7
*Trail / XC bike*
- 29 inch wheels (or 27.5+)
- 130mm front & rear travel
- Basic but useable 1x11 drivetrain and brakes
- 32mm stanchion Reba fork (i.e. not super aggressive)
- Good for long trips, fast XC riding, some aggressive descents but more smooth and flowy riding than gnarly
Remedy 8
*Trail / Enduro bike*
- 27.5 inch wheels
- 160mm front, 150mm rear travel
- Decent GX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain and 4-piston brakes
- 35mm stanchion Lyrik fork (i.e. can get very aggressive) - smoother with Charger damper and Debonair negative chamber
- Re:Activ rear shock with regressive damping developed by Penske. Should make the shock more useable for pedalling without sacrificing rear wheel tracking.
- Good for most normal trail riding, aggressive descents and rough trails. May be overkill for some.
Both are good bikes, both have good quality stiff frames and both should offer decent dealer support. I wouldn't hesitate to get the Remedy, the Fuel is good but lacks in the same level of specs. It ultimately depends on what sort of bike you need...
Other bikes to consider: YT Jeffsy 27 or 29, Giant Trance, Commencal Meta V4.2
At the end I buy Remedy 9.

I chose Remedy because I would like go in bikeparks and ride relax, don't look on every rock, jump, roots...
After, I was ride EX 29" and bike is very fast, can go over biger obstacles, litlebit easyer for pedaling.
After 4 mounts of riding Remedy I'm satisfact with chose. Big thing is front fork with 130-160mm, you get geometry near EX for uphills. In bike park bike is light and I have fiiling like on first Sessions 88 from 2009. with 65 head angle.
With this bike I was ride marathon, discovering the island, weekend trail riding, local Enduro races, bike parks...
You mast chose what type of riding you more like, and more type ride you will do.
