Trek Warranty Problem

Related:
3 months ago I purchased my first racing bike, a Remedy 9.8 2018. Looking at the price of the bike, I assumed that the carbon would be resistant and of a good quality as Trek self claim themselves. But this time is not the case.

I went on my first trip with my bike using a pickup a week ago, the driver was someone who lived from bikes (he everyday use his bike on his pickup) so he is smart enough and knows how to drive with a bike on his car. This trip I made it with two friends more, so we were 4 in total. I can name that we were transporting a Propain, a Yeti and two Trek's, all of them made of carbon.

Turns in, we all take our bikes and I find a fisure on my Remedy, which I am completely sure it wasn't the pickup fault. I can ensure this because:
1) The pickup is of a good quality
2) The driver didn't drive irresponsable, never drove in a way to risk a bike
3) None of the other carbon frames that were on the pickup suffered a problem

So I asked myself and realized that this should be hold in bu warranty by the simple reason that my carbon frame shouldn't be weak enough to brake on a pickup. I haven't had a major crash this year with my bike, but if my Remedy has cracked on a pickup I can't imagine what would happen if I had a major crash.

So I sent my bike to my local Trek shop, located in Santiago, Chile and they told me that they won't cover this, as they also told me that they've had more cases like this on a Remedy 9.8 and offered me a frame with discount from a Remedy 9.9.

So I want to know your opinion about this problem, should Trek cover the warranty of my bike?

Good luck with Trek and their warranty service. They love to offer crash replacement on frames that are warranty issues. That way they still get your $$$.
