Is anyone having any problems with tire beads on folding Maxxis DH casing tires?
I run DT Swiss EX511 rims and every time I use a tire lever to assemble a tire it gets destroyed. As destroyed I mean the tire isn't straight anymore - with all the bead sitting correctly in the rim of course. I use Nukeproof ARD rim inserts, so that's why the need for levers. Mounting the tire without inserts isn't a problem to do with bare hands. And don't get me wrong, I'm not doing anything crazy with the levers, just normal use of tire levers for the last 20cm of tire bead.
I actually tried this trick but couldn't get it done, not with the DH casing (maybe my grip strength is just to weak :D):

For now Maxxis warrantied all of tires but the real problem for me is - can I run tire inserts on Maxxis DH casing tires? I used to run them on wire beads and there weren't any problems like this.
Maybe any hints?
Thanks!
