Yes, the Gen 1 Raptor was a lot rougher around edges, the Gen 2 Raptor is a lot more refined in terms of ride, steering and power delivery. Also the horse power and torque are noticeably different. The Gen 1 with the 6.2 L V8 had 411 HP and 435 ft-lb and the Gen 2 with the twin turbo 3.5 V6 has 450 HP and 510 ft-lb. So with the added power and weight savings of 500 lbs (due the motor and aluminum body), the Gen 2 feels like a rocket next to my old Gen 1.

Yes my Gen 1 was 11/16 though I always averaged around 12.5 - I've never seen 16. The Gen 2 is 15/18 and I usually average around 16 which is a lot better.
