In response to the PB article published this morning about the Shimano wireless system, we wrote an article on Jan. 11th about the patent filing on this new tech. There's way more information on the system in this article. We even show a wireless fork system they're developing.

"Unfortunately, the juiciest parts of the applications, including pictures of the components being approved, are hidden...the confidentiality agreement between Shimano and the FCC prevents us from seeing exactly what's going on here..."

We have pictures and you can see wtf is going on in my article! Check this out!

As an XC guy, I’m waiting for electronic suspension lockout for the masses. I know it’s been done before, but it was very limited. If Live Valve exists, a manual electronic lockout shouldn’t be that difficult.

I'm excited to see the finished product. I used to be a Shimano fan but recently decided to buy the AXS system. I have to say it works exceptionally well. I've smashed it on multiple occasions harder than any mechanical derailleur could handle once and it shifts perfectly.

I have Di2 at the moment so no need to really upgrade, but it is VERY good and I imagine this new system will be better. Only issue with Di2 is the price when you break a mech, I'm onto my 3rd one now which is getting pricey.
