Rockshox deluxe rl lockout problem

My deluxe rl automatically kicks into lockout after I go off a jump. Is there a way of giving this myself?

Does the lever move into the lockout position when you land or does it lock without the lever moving when you land?

I'll try to do that later today. I mistakenly posted it as an RL. It's a Trunnion RT.

Here are the pics of it opened and closed. The lever used to point straight down then at 90°. But not anymore.

Looks like you bent a set-screw in the eyelet assembly (common issue on that generation of shock).

What's happening is the lever (and the damper valve) is now somewhere between lock and open modes and sharp impacts will toggle it to lockout.



To fix you need to replace the bent setscrew (the one closest to the lever/rebound knob) so the lever is vertical or 90 degrees- a DSD/service center might need to help you source a new set screw.

That helps a lot. I'll give them a shout. Any idea how to actually access the screw?

There should be 3 setscrews on top of the shock- you can see them in your photos. The bent one is the smaller one- closest to the rebound knob/lockout lever.
