Hi, I'm this has been asked before but the search wasn't much help.

Can I use volume spacers on older model shocks? I have a 2010 XFusion VAD and I'd love to make it a bit more progressive

Not familiar with that shock but the answer is "likely". Back in the day we used to pull valve cores and add oil - but this can weep causing you to lose progressiveness over time. Still, I'd do the oil trick. Won't hurt anything. Start with 5ccs and move from there.
