Hey literally getting into the mtb scene tomorrow trading my bmx for a norco havoc 2012, Is this a decent DJ? Looking for something I can use on trails and the skatepark.
Provided the fork and brake are working well, it's a decent ride and will be a good starter MTB. Really can't go too wrong with dirt jumpers. Have fun!

Nice! Since you don't have a front brake, consider removing the front brake rotor entirely to clean the bike up a bit. I'd also suggest sliding that grip out to the end of the bar and securing it with safety wire or grip glue. There are several lock-on grips out there that will also stay put and keep the end of your bar from getting banged up.

Thank you and yeah getting new grips on payday and also am planning to get a front brake on it as soon as I can afford it
