3M Mastic tape can be a great way to keep your chainstay silent and protected from the chain slapping against it.

Looks great!

A hardtail will teach you a thing or two about line choice. And it can make any trail fun. Go fast!

Just looking at the spec that I can see, that's a fine choice for a 1st bike. Definitely capable for off road.

Just bought my first one as well. Specialized Rockhopper Expert. Coming from motocross, I can already tell I want the full suspension after one ride haha.
