Mountain Biker Shot and Bike-Jacked in San Diego Area

This story just came to our attention as police in the San Diego area are cautioning riders in the Lake Hodges region of trails. It sounds as though some riders are familiar and already a bit sketched out with the I-15 portion. Be safe out there fellow shredders!

That is a very sketchy area, but it also sees a ton of traffic. Years ago it was a homeless camp before they put the trail in. Not sure what time of day this happened, but if it was mid day it would be pretty shocking. Evening or early morning, not as shocking but still crazy.
