Majority of bikes at Taipei Cycle Show are e-bikes

My guesstimate is roughly 3/4 of all bikes and frames on display are e-bikes. Not sure if I'm happy about that fact. There are some really cool looking ones, though.

It's pretty sad (maybe soon it will just be renamed the e-bike show?). I can't decide if it's disheartening or epic that someone is speccing Maxxis Hookworms and what looks like an awkwardly steep head angle + slack seat tube angle on a bike still. I had to check Maxxis' website and, sure enough, there is in fact a 29x2.5 Hookworm in all it's 2.7 pounds glory.

Huck E-Bikes. Gotta love those Hookworms though. I used to love them on the streets and they're now retired to my '56 Schwinn.

I kinda get the concept and a lot found it cute. Slick tires just ruined it, though, in my humble opinion.
