my cheeta was red. its in my shop stripped down at the moment, i need a few more bits to build it back up.

draco was some guys i knew & worked with when i went to college in Rochester NY. they were active over on PB at the time.this one wasn't mine, but it was one of the 3 built at the time. mine had slacker geometry. it had something like a 63 or 64 degree head angle, which was almost unheard of at the time it was built (2006). it was also super low, bb height was like 12.625"

edit to add that it was steel too. except for the linkage plates & dropouts. they had also been experimenting with some trail/xc hardtails that had lugged carbon top tubes and seat stays. those were super cool. a buddy of mine still has one.

These are my own bikes, but from 95 to 2000 and 2005-2010 I worked in shops and had access to "demo" bikes whenever needed, so wouldn't own other bikes of my own.

Depends on your riding preferences - if its more XC then the RipMo is a very efficient climber. If you're more DH/fun then Evil platform wins every time. One comment I will make is that I always blew through the travel on the RipMo, either with an X2, DPX2 or DPS shock. Think they may have cured this with the V2 as the kinematics are different.

I'd class the RipMo is a long travel trail bike, the Offering a short travel Enduro bike. Either way both are very good all round bikes. One is better suited to climbs. The other is better suited to fun.
