Graphics. They're all so delicate. That's one place that I've always saved a lot of money just going with the cheapest ones and replacing them (Without crying too hard.) when they break.

that's one place i've always spent a little more money going with the upper range ones and rarely replacing them (without crying too hard) since i've never had one break. i hate free play in my shifters and since they last as long as anything else on my bikes i go with the higher end models.

I'm into this too. Decent derailleur with the a shifter. Sloppy shifter feel is a pet peeve
