My last bike was a stumpjumper 29er. Sold it and have been solely riding motocross lately. Looking at getting another full suspension. I am in Texas currently (military). Seems like some solid trails here, and even a downhill park! Love jumping, and want a great all around bike. Thinking an enduro?

Would like to be around $3k price range. Which bike would you choose? I’ve been eyeing canyon, commencal, and I think there’s a nuke proof dealer in Austin. I’m open to anything though. Not even sure if I should go 29 or 27.5. The 29er stumpjumper I had was a little older and felt awkward jumping. Maybe just from older angles etc.

27.5 is more nimbly and 29ers are more stable. Both on ground and in the air in my opinion. I don't really have an issue jumping 29 unless the jumps have an intense radius more meant for bmx bikes. There are a lot of good bikes in that price range. Personally I'd go for something in the all mountain category as opposed to an enduro race bike based on where you live.

A used bike could get you a lot more for your money.

Also transition is blowing out last years sentinel model. https://www.transitionbikes.com/Bikes_Sentinel.cfm Sick bike for a sick price. Other brands/bike shops will have closeouts on slightly older bikes as well.

The Kona Process 153 is an awesome bike and you often get more for your money. There’s usually some good deals on used ones.

I made a similar post maybe 2 weeks ago with a $2500 budget Lol I’m kind of getting out of motocross tho and more into biking. You at Lackland?

@sspomer suggested the Canyon Spectral (27.5) - I came very close to buying it, but a deal on a used Yeti ended up working out. (Even so, I’m still interested in it) There were some other really great suggestions as well, but I’m sure they’ll chime in 😎

Fort hood. Yeah someone mentioned the ibis ripmo af. Exactly $3k and seems like a great reviewed bike! Might have to check one out.
