I just purchased a used DJ bike from craigslist, it has definitely been ridden so I am in the process of stripping it down and rebuilding. The guy said it was a Specialized, but after digging into it and looking online I can not find any frames that look like it. Any one have an idea?

Here is it when I bought it

Here is just the frame after I sanded and resprayed it.

The plan is to replace the front fork, trying to find a used one at the moment and switch the from hub from 9mm Qr to a 15mm bolt.

Thanks sspomer!

So looking at my wheels I have 10mm rear axle and a 9mm front axle, should I get a new front wheel with a 15-20 mm axle or will the 9mm be fine for light dirt jumping?

That fork is certainly a classic. And looks pretty beat.

Ha it is pretty trashed. Trying to get a Rock Shox recon silver, hopefully get it ordered in the next couple of days.

Picked up some Atomlab wheels and a Manitou Circus shock last night from a really cool dude, he even tuned my bike up!

Went riding for a couple hours after and it was solid. Now just going to look for a new crank, chain ring, and chain.

Nice Man. I was going to recommend a Circus.
